Leverage HR (LHR) was founded in Columbus, OH in 2006 by Sapna Welsh and two other women with a commitment to helping organizations achieve their long- and short-term goals through leader and employee development. Since that time, our team has grown in size and our clients have grown from domestic to international, including both public and private organizations.

Sapna Welsh is the founding partner of Leverage HR and leads the overall organization. She is the co-author of two major books on Women’s development. Prior to starting Leverage HR Sapna was on the ground floor for both Deloitte’s and JPMC’s diversity initiatives. Sapna serves on several Boards in addition to leading the practice. She holds a Master in HR from The Ohio State and a BBA from The George Washington University.
Bob Welsh is a partner with Leverage HR and leads operations. Prior to joining he was the top executive for Talent, Learning and OD with DHL and IQVIA living and working domestically and internationally. Bob serves on several Boards and committees and is ICF (PCC) credentialed. He holds an MBA from Otterbein University and a BA from The George Washington University.
Kim is Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience in developing people and organizational culture. Her career started as an HR business partner, moving to become specialist in Talent Development. Kim received her MS in Clinical Psychology and her BS Psychology & Sociology. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources licensure, and a certificate in Diversity & Inclusion certificate from Cornell University.
Pamela is a Leverage HR Consultant with nearly 30 years of experience in Technology, Sales, and Learning. She is adept at managing multi-disciplined teams and acknowledged as an agent for organizational transformation. Her specialized expertise includes marketing and technical support management. Skilled at standing up new departments and functions. She holds a MS in Organizational Development and a BS in Business from Fordham University.
Bryan is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience enabling organizations transform through strong relationships. He has led Talent, Learning and Change for a number of global organizations and consulted both domestically and internationally. Bryan received his MS from Case Western Reserve and his BS from Penn State. He holds certificates in Leading Change from MIT, Strategic Human Resources Management from Harvard and is a Certified Executive Coach.
Viki is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience supporting organizations address real business issues through development. Her career has been dedicated to professional training and development. She has extensive experience in managing and developing people in various supervisory and management roles, putting her in an ideal position to be able to relate to real business issues that her clients s face on a day-to-day basis. She has worked and lived in the US and Europe.
Shiv is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience in management consulting in Digital Transformation at McKinsey&Co and Adobe, and in Diversity & Inclusion work and Executive Coaching. He is a certified Executive and Life Coach (CTI), Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor (ISSA), and Meditation Practitioner. Among various board roles, he serves as VP of External Affairs for Federation of Gay Games. He holds an M.A. in French & Lit.
Christa is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience working with multiple levels of leadership to enable change and development for Fortune 500 companies. Her career started as an HR generalist and evolved to specialist roles leading Leadership Development, Coaching, Strategy and Transformation. Christa received her BS from Miami University and is a Certified Leadership Coach.
Shawn is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience providing Consulting, Training, Performance Coaching, Leadership, and Employee Development solutions to mid and large-sized domestic and international. She has implemented distance learning solutions and provided coaching to both technical and non-technical professionals, developing skills and improving overall engagement. She received her MA and BS degrees from Ohio State University and is a Certified Coach.
Camila is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years’ experience delivering HR solutions with a focus on strategic talent management. Her multi-cultural experience spans companies operating in Latin America, USA, Germany, China. Camila holds an MBA in Strategic HR and BA from the Catholic University of Campinas, Brazil (PUCCAMP-2005). She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Uma S. Devireddy
Uma is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience coaching kids on public speaking and executives in sales and marketing on Inclusive Marketing Strategy and Change Management. Uma has held various leadership roles in fortune 500 companies. She holds an MBA, and is currently pursuing an MS in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London. She is also a certified as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practitioner.

Begonia is a Leverage HR Consultant with over 20 years working experience in global leading organizations in different countries and continents. She is an expert in strategic and operational brand management, development of global growth strategies and management of intercultural teams. She delivers solutions in German, Spanish, and English.
Brave Young Voices
Brave Young Voices (BYV) is a youth theatre project that offers young people a safe, creative, and non-judgmental space where we honor the young person’s voice. They believe that theatre builds community, promotes dialogue among diverse voices, and creates opportunities for voices that have often been quieted. Carmel Avengon Sanders, the organization’s Founding Artistic Director, partners with HR to train and coach leaders on being authentic and developing an engaging presence.
Champion HR provides clients with HR Project support across the HR lifecycle including systems, policies and compliance. They are experts in consolidating and analyzing data using the foremost privacy practices and tools. Founder, Emilie Sizemore, partners with LHR on the collection and analysis of data supporting organizational development, DEI, Change Management and other solutions and services.
BCCM Broer Cros – Culture Management
BCCM Broer Cros – Culture Management specializes in training leaders for successful collaboration in international settings and provides pre-departure expat training. Founder Bastian Broer is based in Germany and holds degrees in Chinese, Japanese and Law from Bonn University. He also holds a degree from Beijing Yuyan Xueyuan. Broer delivers coaching and training in Japanese, English and German.
